Alutech’s awning windows push out from the bottom, so you get fresh air and shelter from sudden showers. They suit Perth homes that want timeless styling with modern performance. Every window is tested to exceed Australian Standards.
The biggest advantage of an awning window is the way it opens. The sash hinges at the top and swings outward, so the open window acts as a small canopy and keeps rain out while air flows through. When it’s closed, the seal resists air and moisture, which helps keep the house comfortable and cuts cooling costs.
Our system achieves 1000Pa water resistance, one of the highest ratings in our residential range. The sashes are extra strong, which means large windows can be made for high wind load areas. These awning windows suit bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and any room where you want steady ventilation.
Many homeowners want the look of traditional timber windows without the maintenance, and our awning system is designed with that in mind. You can choose a highlight window, a single panel or a multi-panel layout. There are no visible rivets or fixings, so the lines stay clean.
Choose between manual or electric winders and cam handles. Flyscreens fit neatly, and double glazing is available for better thermal performance and sound reduction. Glass thicknesses range from 4mm single panes up to 24mm insulated glass units.
Pick from 84 standard powdercoat finishes or high-performance Ultriva coatings for long-lasting durability. Because the windows are made to order in Perth, the colour and size can match the rest of your home.
